I've been meaning to start writing for a long time. Not in the way people say they've been meaning to go to the gym, where the intention is real but the follow-through is perpetually deferred – I mean that I've had drafts sitting in notes apps, scattered thoughts in journal entries and half-formed opinions shared in threads.
So here it is. A place to put things down properly. I built it using eleventy.js - https://www.11ty.dev/.
I'm Luca. I've spent the last decade and a half working across tech in various shapes – support, product, design, and briefly, the chaotic and humbling experience of running my own business. I've worked at companies you might know and ones you probably don't. I've been employee number twenty-something multiple times. I care deeply about craft, about people, and about building things that actually work for the humans on the other end of them.
I don't have a strict editorial plan for this. I want to write about work – what I've learned, what I've got wrong, what I think about how teams operate and how products get made. I want to write about design and the way it shapes how people move through the world. And occasionally I'll probably write about something entirely unrelated, because that's how minds work.
